When my oldest child was diagnosed with autism, I became apprehensive about the idea of putting him in public school. I didn't know if they could truly meet his specific needs, and I didn't want him to fall behind or be picked on. That's when I started researching the education options for kids on the autism spectrum. I learned that there are different ways to teach kids with autism in ways that they can learn more effectively.
